THE CHARACTER OF THE TRIBULATION

God’s wrath will be poured out upon mankind for their wickedness and corruption which will exceed the days of Noah and Lot (Gen 6; Mt. 24:37-39; Lk 17:22-37; 2 Tim 3:1-12).

Words cannot describe the utter rebellion and the wickedness of men during this period of final struggle between God and the devil over possession of the earth (Rev 11:15; 12:7-12; 19:11-21; 20:1-3).

Men will reject the truth until God gives them over to the “strong delusion” of the Antichrist who will cause them to believe a lie and be damned. (2 Thess. 2:8-12; 2 Pet 3:1-9).

Even after God pours out His judgments upon men they will still deny Him. (Rev 9:20,21; 16:2-11; 17:1-18; 18:1-24).

ARMIES OF THE KING OF KINGS

Supernatural armies of God at Armageddon described.

Who are the saints? All born again believers who have been Raptured and are now in their resurrection bodies.

Who are the angels?  God’s mightiest faithful warrior angels.

1.      Day of darkness and gloominess, clouds, thick darkness

2.      Supernatural beings appearance is like horses and horsemen; so shall they run. Their noise is like chariots in the mountains.

3.      They are a great and strong people. There never has been nor ever will be again, even for many generations, a people coming into the land like this.

4.      They will be a strong people in battle array. They will run like mighty men. They will march everyone in his way; run upon the wall. They will fall on the sword and not be wounded. (When the saints come marching in….)

5.      The earth will shake before them.

6.      The heavens will tremble.

7.      The sun and moon will be dark. The stars will withdraw their shining. Great earthquakes.

8.      The LORD will be their Commander and utter HIS voice before HIS army.

Jud 1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jud 1:15  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Zec 14:5  And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Joe 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Joe 2:4  The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Joe 2:5  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Joe 2:6  Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

Joe 2:7  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Joe 2:8  Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Joe 2:9  They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

Joe 2:10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

Joe 2:11  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

WE, and all the saints who have gone before us are the ones who make up the LORD’S army along with HIS faithful angels.

THE OPPOSING ARMY OF THE ANTICHRIST

Rev 19:17  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

Rev 19:18  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Rev 19:19  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rev 19:21  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The battle of Ezekiel 38 and 39 can be differentiated from the Battle of Armageddon because only Russia and the Islamic nations are involved against Israel.

The Battle of Armageddon includes ALL nations with the Antichrist and they come against Christ and His saints thinking they are going to eradicate Israel.

THE SAINTS RULE AND REIGN WITH CHRIST DURING THE MILLENNIUM AFTER THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

Dan 7:13  I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Dan 7:14  And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

ARMAGEDDON

NEWS FLASH: IT ALL STARTS HERE

Egypt's civil war is in Scripture.

Isa 19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

Isa 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

The spirit of Egypt is failing because they become exhausted by internal strife. The cruel Lord is the Antichrist.

It is also in Daniel 8:23 and 11:40-45

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Dan 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

Dan 11:41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Dan 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

Dan 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Dan 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

Dan 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

The four horns are Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Syria.

King of the South = Egypt

King of the North = Syria

The Antichrist is from Syria. See: Dan 8:42

"So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth" (Revelation 6:8).

Has the Lord actually allowed us to see the horse and rider of Revelation 6:8, in Cairo?  The word "pale" in that above verse is the Greek word chloros (Greek # 5515), which means green.

If you have not seen it yet, you need to see this green horse and rider caught by a news camera in Cairo.  At 1:19 minutes into the video, you can clearly see a green horse and rider gallop  into a crowd then mysteriously disappear into thin air.  See

A short scene from the TV series Stargate SG-1, Season Eight. They are talking about a meeting with some very powerful and evil beings called the System Lords.

Daniel Jackson: “The System Lords can’t be trusted either as a group or as individuals. They’re posturing ego maniacs driven by an insatiable lust for power who are capable of unimaginable evil.”

Dr. Elizabeth Wehr, former U.N. negotiator: “See? Why should I be nervous? Sounds like a typical day at the United Nations.”

Perfect description for the way it is now and it will be much worse when the anti-Christ takes it over. This rider of the white horse of the apocholypse comes forth conquering and to conquer. He brings global wars. He brings back the guillotine. He beheads a great multitude of people because they refuse to give up their faith in Jesus and worship him. (YES, there will be people saved during the tribulation.)

In Left Behind people are only saved by the testimony of others, but that is only one way. Many will realize who God is when they see the great earth calamities coming on the earth. Some people will curse God for all this, but obviously not all. Does everyone, even now, curse God when a calamity strikes or does it bring many to their knees crying out for mercy? Think of past events such as the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon and the more recent December 2004 Tsunami that killed over 200,000 people.

During the Tribulation there will be terrible wars, earthquakes so tremendous that they flatten mountains and cause islands to disappear, starvation, pestilence, animals turning against us, meteor hit, comet hit, trees burned up and finally the battle of Armageddon.

Those who think the Illuminati and Masons have all power, think about this: These are the powerful men who will be running to the mountains and caves begging for them to fall on them and hide them from the face of the Lamb of God.

What happens on the Earth during the Tribulation will be so terrible that there will be silence in Heaven for the space of half an hour. The peoples of Heaven will be so horrified they will be struck dumb.

Our planet may have 6 Billion plus people now, but at the end of all this, the population of this planet will be in the millions NOT billions.  Even some New Age groups have said that 2 Billion will disappear in the evacuation of the ones they consider undesirable and holding back progress. Add to that all the following disasters including the numbers beheaded for their faith.

Battle of Armageddon and 7 proofs the army is supernatural.

1. There has never been any like them appearing on earth before (v2)
2. Nor will there be ever again…until the end of the Millennium when Satan and his angels and demons will appear on earth in an effort to take it over, at which time God will send this army of heaven against them. (v2; Isa. 24:22; Rev. 20:7-10)
3. A fire will devour before them (v3; 2 Th 1:7-10)
4. They will be riding horses or be in chariots (v4) This is pictured several times of God’s Army (2 Ki 2:11-12; 6:16-19; Zech 1:7-11; 6:1-8; Rev 19:11, 14  21)
5. They will not be hurt even if they fall upon a sword (v8)
6. Different from men, they are able to climb walls; and they will climb up upon the houses and enter into the windows like a thief (v9)
7. THEY ARE THE LORD’S ARMY AND HE WILL BE LEADING THEM PERSONALLY. HIS ARMY IS DEFINETLY SPOKEN OF AS BEING THE HOLY ANGELS AND RESURRECTED SAINTS FROM HEAVEN. (Zech. 14:4-5; Mt. 16:27; 24:31; 2 Th 1:7-10; Jude 14-15; Rev. 19:11-21)

The battle of Armageddon is not to be an ordinary battle between two sets of nations. This battle will be one between the armies of Heaven under Christ and the armies of the Earth under Antichrist as proved in Zech. 14; Joel 3; Rev. 19:11-21.

The word “Armageddon” occurs only once in Scripture. It is the name of a place where the greatest battle of all times will be fought. The battle itself however, under different terms, is mentioned many times in Scripture. The battle ground is a place where the three unclean spirits will gather the nations together to battle (Rev. 16:13-16). Armageddon is called “the valley of Jehoshaphat” in other places in the bible, which identifies the location of the battle as a place extending from Mount Carmel southeast to Jerusalem (Joel 3).

The word Armageddon is derived from two Hebrew words, har, meaning a mountain or range of hills, hill country and Megiddo, meaning, rendezvous. The two words put together (Har-Megiddo) refer to the Hill of Megiddo on the south side of the valley of Megiddo or Esdraelon southeast of Mount Carmel (2 Chron. 35:22; Zech. 12:11). Megiddo was the capital of a portion of Canaan that fell to Joshua (Josh. 12:21; 17:11; Judg. 1:27). It is at the entrance to a pass across the Carmel mountain range, on the main highway between Asia and Africa, and is the key position between the Euphrates and the Nile. It has been a battle field of many peoples throughout many ages.  Thothmes III, the founder of the Egyptian empire, said, “Megiddo is worth a thousand cities.”

“And I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him  was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” (Rev. 19: 11-16).

He is coming with authority and for the purpose of making war upon the nations and judging them (Isa. 11:4; 49:2), of treading them in the fierceness of the winepress of the wrath of Almighty God (Isa. 63:3; Rev. 14:17-20; 19:15), and the ruling (shepherding) them with a rod of iron (Ps. 2:9) Compare with Rev. 2:27; 12:5; Ps. 149:7-9).

This is the war between the nations and God the Creator and Jesus Christ and His saints. The blood in that valley will be horse bridal deep and it will take Israel 7 years to clean up the mess.

The Battle of Armageddon or the Supper of the Great God: (where vultures and eagles will gather) The last part of Rev. 19 is devoted to the Battle of Armageddon or “the supper of the great God:” The idea that Armageddon must be fought between nations as a common war is wrong. It is a supernatural war.

 When the last two World Wars broke out some of the newspapers printed flaming headlines reading “Armageddon!” or “Is it Armageddon?” It is not a comet coming toward us either as depicted in the movie, “Armageddon.” All such musings in the hearts of men show a failure to discern the times in which we live and what prophecy has to say on the subject. To answer any question about Armageddon we must consult the Bible, for Armageddon is exclusively a Bible theme. Armageddon is to follow the fulfillment of all the Revelation recorded down to chapter 19.

The devil believes in a pre-tribulation rapture as do most New Agers. It is only a few Christians who deny this truth.

Just because we are evacuated for 7 earth years does not mean we will be gone forever. We’ll be back!! The saints will be marching in behind Jesus who is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Prayer for Salvation: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. If we have invited Jesus to come and live within us and be the Lord of our lives then our inheritance in the future kingdom is assured.

God's word says in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

In order to invite Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, you must believe in you heart that He is the Son of God, believe that He died upon the cross of Calvary as an atonement for your wrong doings, and believe that He arose from death and the grave. We must confess and repent of our sins and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. If you have never done this then stop right now and pray this prayer.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus repenting and asking forgiveness of all my sins. Your Word says, "whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead thou shalt be saved" I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I am a Christian ..a child of Almighty God! I am saved!

You are now an heir to the Kingdom of God! Your future is assured. I want to encourage you to find a church in your local area to attend. Tell someone that you have just received Jesus as your Lord. Than start digging into God's Word.
