RAPTURE ALERTS

http://www.raptureready.com/rr-last-generation.html
The Jews count a generation as 52 years. The
Bible tells us that the generation that sees the Jews get control of Jerusalem
(June 1967) will see Jesus return. The end of that generation is 2019. The
rapture has to happen at least 7 years before that to keep us from the days of
wrath that will bring hell on earth for those 7 years. The catching away or
rapture could actually happen any time within the next two years.
The year 1967 is the key. The
big question is – how long is a “generation”? Counting from June 7, 1967, how
much time do we have before “this generation” passes away and “all these things
take place”?
The definition of a biblical generation has been long debated. Most say 40
years or 70 years. The year 1967 + 40 (2007) has already passed, so that cannot
be it.
The year 1967 + 70 = 2037, which could be true, but that seems too far in the
future to be relevant to the many signs being seen, events taking place, and
prophecies being spoken.
There is one more strong, biblical possibility that fits the times, and that is
the hint given by chronologies in Luke 3:23-38. There are 77 generations
described over about a 4,000-year period, from Adam to Christ. 4,000 divided by
77 = 51.9 years. And 1967 + 51.9 = 2018.9.
This is confirmed in another passage, Matthew 1:17, where it describes 42
generations from Abraham to Christ. One blogger says that period of time is
2,160 years, for which there may be slight disagreement. But if 2,160 is
correct, then divided by 42 = 51.4 years, amazingly close to the above
calculation. And 1967 + 51.4 = 2018.4.
In both cases, we land on 2018-2019 for “all these things to take place.” It is
amazing that these two calculations are so close.
Minus the seven-year tribulation = 2011-2012 for the rapture!!!
I have been aware of these calculations for years and have always been
interested in them, but had forgotten about them. That they pointed to
2011-2012 totally slipped up on me. It was brought to me attention by old
friend, Reverend Ron Patterson of Kentucky, on the telephone this week when he
told me about Jack Van Impe’s teaching on the subject. Van Impe claims that God
woke him up at 4:45 one morning and asked him if he had missed something when he
originally made his DVD offer about 2012. He said the Lord told him that the
rapture should be calculated from the recapture of Jerusalem in 1967 (as above)
instead of the Israel’s rebirth date of 1948. His study resulted in the above
calculations and dates.
Those who are wise, let them prepare."
I say again, those who are wise, let them prepare.

Is the Rapture Really Taking As Many As You Think? |
|
MORIEL
MINISTRIES - By Danny Isom - March 9, 2011
"Then
there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be
left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one
will be left."
-
Matthew 24:40-41 (NASB)
There is
a YouTube video, which depicts what is probably the most mainstream
concept of how the Rapture is envisioned to work. It shows a Sunday
morning church service where the pastor is preaching about the Rapture
to a congregation of a couple hundred when the dramatic sound of thunder
takes all but a handful "in the twinkling of an eye". (1
Co. 15:52) The miserable few who are left behind are dazed and
shocked in a now almost empty church as more than 95% of the
congregation were instantly translated in the Rapture. At the risk of
filling up my email beyond its theoretical capacity, I am going to ask
you to consider whether it is really going to
happen like that. Do you think everyone currently attending church is
going to be snatched up as portrayed in the video? I think it is
opposite of that. If I were making the video, 190 people would be
sitting there wondering what happened to the 10 or so whose
disappearance was so unobtrusive to that Sunday morning service that
they begin with a search to see if they are in the bathroom or parking
lot.
I am not going to address the issue of "when"
the Rapture takes place. For some time I've been bugging Jacob Prasch to
author a definitive booklet on Moriel's "Intra-Tribulational" position
and hope that it will provide a definitive, biblical answer to that
question. (Hint, hint, Jacob.) No, I am assuming that like the vast
majority of Bible-believing Christians you are at least in agreement
that there IS a Rapture, or as I prefer, the "Harpazo",
which is the actual Greek term used in Scripture. It appears to me that
partly due to theological teachings of eschatology on one hand, and a
wildly popular Christian fiction market where the End Times are
concerned on the other, that the mainstream belief where the Harpazo is
concerned is that basically everyone in church is guaranteed a ticket
out of here. I have come to believe that in these Last Days in which we
are seeing Scripture so accurately fulfilled in its characterization of
these times as rife with spiritual deception, that this popular notion
of the Harpazo is itself no small deception.
I first and foremost want you to consider who
is "qualified" to participate in the Harpazo? There has to be some kind
of "minimum requirement" since not everyone is being taken. Scripture
provides a lot of clues when it comes to figuring out who is going to be
taken and who is going to be left behind. Consider those people we know
of who were snatched away and saved in the same manner as the ultimate
Harpazo to come. A quick list is Enoch, Noah, Lot and Elijah. Do you
notice something these men all had in common? They were all
extraordinarily faithful and spiritually obedient people. They were not
people who merely believed God existed, or someone who acknowledged God
- they were people who lived exclusively and wholly devoted lives to Him
alone. Do you think participants in the Harpazo will be any less
qualified? I am not saying only "perfect" people will go, I am
suggesting that only the scripturally defined "faithful" are the
qualified candidates.
We live in an age when it is statistically
impossible to distinguish the difference between someone who goes to
church from someone who does not. (Notice I am not narrowing the field
to "Bible-believing Christians" because the video, like the general
notion of the Harpazo, is that basically everyone at church is going to
be snatched away.) Pick any moral issue which is supposed to
differentiate the saved from the unsaved and, in America at least, there
is no statistical difference. They both have the same divorce rate, the
same attitudes toward sex and relationships, the same opinions on
homosexuality, and in spite of their public stance to the contrary, the
same percentage of abortions. In the face of these facts, do you really
believe that everyone at church today is a member of the "faithful
remnant"? Do you believe that even half of the average congregation
qualifies? Or is every congregation deceived into thinking that it is
the one exception to all the others in order for the statistics to make
sense?
For a long time many of us have followed the
work of
George Barna, the Christian researcher who knew that there was
something wrong when most Americans identified themselves as
"Christian". Common sense tells us something is wrong with that kind of
response because if the majority were truly "Christian" then how could
we be experiencing so many moral and spiritual problems today? Why
wouldn't every law passed in America conform to scriptural standards?
How could America not obviously be anything other than "Christian" if
such a majority claimed to be so? Why would we ban prayer in school, the
Ten Commandments from courtrooms, or promote Islamic practices in our
schools? Barna realized that he had to narrow the requirements in order
to uncover the truth.
He chose to determine who exactly was an
"Evangelical" rather than simply a "Christian" because Evangelicals were
supposed to be closer to the definition of someone who
practiced what they preached rather than merely being a cultural
Christian in name only or someone who just "goes to church". Barna
developed a set of criteria he calls "the 9-point evangelical". Such
people are defined according to the following rules:
1. They say they have made a personal
commitment to Jesus Christ that is still important in their life today.
2. They believe when they die they will go to
Heaven because they have confessed their sins and accepted Christ as
Savior.
3. They say their faith is very important in
their life today.
4. They believe they have a personal
responsibility to share their beliefs with non-Christians.
5. They believe Satan exists.
6. They believe eternal salvation is possible
only through grace, not works.
7. They believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless
life on earth.
8. They assert that the Bible is accurate in
all it teaches.
9. They describe God as the all-knowing,
all-powerful, perfect deity who created the universe and still rules it
today.
In other words, if you ask everyone in a given
room if they consider themselves to be a "Christian", practically all
the hands will instinctively go up. If you then ask, "How many of you
are 'Evangelical' Christians?" the majority drop their arms and only 38%
of hands are still in the air. But if you ask everyone to keep their
hand in the air to affirm they believe in each of the above nine points
as they are read one by one, the end result will be that only about 8%
of the room will still be holding up a hand to affirm all nine
of the basic criteria. By what standard do you determine
whether or not someone or something is "Christian"? If Barna hasn't
provided the minimum requirements for the members of the faithful
remnant, what would you add or change? I think these are minimally
basic.
I am saying that from a common sense,
scriptural evaluation that we are living at a time when the number of
the truly faithful are dwindling rather than ascending in numbers. Do
you really think there is some kind of "exception" which will make the
Harpazo as radically big as the mainstream appear to believe? Is it
likely that the Harpazo is much bigger than we think to include so many
"cultural" Christians, or is it more realistically to be smaller based
on the spiritual condition of all the potential candidates?
But there is one other trend I implore you to
consider. As Jacob Prasch has taught in a great many of his sermons
concerning the Last Days, if you want to attain to the best
understanding of what it is going to be like leading up to Christ's
Second Coming, learn everything you can about His First Coming. Nearly
everything in His First Coming foreshadows a greater, ultimate
fulfillment in His Second Coming.
At His First Coming, there was a one-world
government with a self-deified ruler from Rome, which foreshadows the
ultimate fulfillment of the working of the Antichrist at His Second
Coming. At His First Coming, everyone was marked for economic control
just as at His Second Coming no one can buy or sell without the mark of
the Beast. At His First Coming Herod foreshadows the dragon of
Revelation in the persecution of God's people. On and on it goes
throughout the Gospels. Through the events and patterns of His First
Coming, the Holy Spirit is trying to teach us something about their
ultimate fulfillment at His Second Coming.
What has this to do with how many are going to
actually participate in the Harpazo? Look at how few
recognized and followed Christ at His First Coming! More importantly,
make a very careful study of the statistically very few who recognized
and believed to the degree that they were true followers by scriptural
standards.
The odds are very good if you are 30-35 years
of age or younger that you do not know that the definition of
"Christian" has changed dramatically in just the span of a single
generation. It is the same with the term "Evangelical". Things which in
the first half of my life were identified as "heresy", "false teaching",
and out-and-out "lies" are today, quite shockingly, accepted as being
"Christian" and/or "Evangelical" in my waning years. That the
world redefines terms according to their own notions is to be
expected, but how does this happen within the walls of the Church?
It has happened the same way it always has going back to the earliest
days recorded in Scripture: by neglecting the Word. And this is exactly
the most oft-addressed issue in the Gospels, how so few clung to the
Word and so many misapplied it, misused it, or rejected it outright.
Do you see how closely the present situation
mirrors that of Christ's First Coming? Jesus faced priests and Levites
who treated their office as nothing more than a vocation. He faced
Sadducees who were liberal religious scholars who did not believe in any
kind of literal interpretation of Scripture but treated it as allegory
and mythology. He faced Pharisees and scribes who elevated their own
interpretations and works above the authority of the original
Scriptures. In other words, at every turn He faced people who on nearly
every level conceivable turned away from the plain and simple
application of God's Word in favor of something else. We have that in
multiplied volume and effect at this present hour.
This battle over God's Word began with Satan
himself trying to twist Scripture during the temptation in the
wilderness. It was evident at the very beginning of Jesus' public
ministry in the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus repeatedly states, "You
have heard it said...but I say to you" in order to rectify their
treatment of Scripture. It is seen time and again in dust-ups with the
various authorities over the Sabbath and the washing of hands and what
Jesus calls their "traditions". It characterizes Christ's last days on
earth in the Temple when various factions tried to question Him where
God's Word is concerned. They even mock His Words while He is on the
cross! One of the most prolific characteristics of the people during the
time of Christ's First Coming is that the majority had found various
ways to ignore, mangle, or misinterpret God's Word to such a degree that
they missed out on Jesus. At His First Coming, to those who were
supposed to know the Word, Christ said...
"For if
you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
-
John 5:46 (NASB)
Because they wanted Scripture to be fulfilled
according to their own expectations, their own desires, their own chosen
lifestyles, they disqualified themselves at Christ's First Coming. I see
the same thing happening again, only on an even larger scale.
When I see the growing impact of the
Purpose Driven agenda, I don't merely see people being deceived, I
see a reduction in the candidates for the Harpazo. When I see the
growing influence of the Emergent Church what I see is a reduction in
the candidates for the Harpazo. When I see the wholesale embrace of New
Age practices inside the walls of the Church, I see a reduction in the
candidates for the Harpazo. When I see the crowds flocking to the likes
of Benny Hinn, Todd Bentley, or any of the other so-called "signs and
wonders" freak shows, I see a reduction in the candidates for the
Harpazo. When I see the de-emphasis if not outright silence when it
comes to the teaching of the cross and a commitment to exclusively live
according to God's Word alone, I see a reduction in the candidates for
the Harpazo.
Enoch, Noah, Lot, and Elijah all lived in an
age of apostasy where the truly scripturally faithful were but the
tiniest minority. But when it comes to the final and last age of
apostasy, which they foreshadow, Jesus says it leads into "a great
tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world
until now, nor ever will". (Mt.
24:21) In other words, it is greatly magnified and more pervasive
than during any other time in history!
Are you genuinely consumed with being one of
those who is eligible for the Harpazo? Then carefully study those who
were qualified at His First Coming.
When Jesus had a question of His own for the
religious of His day, why did He ask them, "The baptism of John was
from what source?" (Mt.
21:25) It goes hand-in-hand with Jesus' earlier observation, "But
the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected God's purpose for themselves, not
having been baptized by John". (Lk.
7:30) The only ones "qualified" to understand and accept Christ's
Word at His First Coming were those who first and foremost genuinely
repented of sin. Those who don't truly commit to the work of the cross
cannot properly put His Word into practice so as to attain to the
scriptural definition of someone who is "faithful", someone I hold to be
a right and proper "candidate" for the Harpazo. I believe this is one of
the reasons that when it comes to the End Times, the chief activity
Christ Himself encourages us to engage in is the preaching of the
Gospel.
I know that there are still a great many people
who have never heard the Gospel and desperately need the chance. But
like it was at Christ's First Coming, I also believe there is a very big
"mission field" right inside the institution we call "church". There is
every bit the need to bring the work of the cross and the Word to those
today following in name only in the shadow of Christ's Second Coming as
it was during His First Coming. It is the only possible way to boost the
membership of those who will actually participate in the Harpazo to
come.
At His First Coming Christ called out and sent
new messengers to preach the simple truth of the Word, those who would
lead in preaching the cross and obedience to His Word. In the shadow of
His Second Coming, the need is even greater.
Seeing
the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed
and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. -
Matthew 9:36 (NASB)
This is what I see the famous false teachers of
the pervasive false spiritual movements doing to the institution of the
church today, a place populated with "sheep without a shepherd".
Or in context with what we've been discussing, "Passengers who don't
actually have a ticket". As at His First Coming, the institution is
again miserably failing. Like the authorities to whom the Magi first
went, such can quote Scripture, but they were not the ones to respond to
God's Word; it was the shepherds who were actually out with the flock.
The same work and calling is required again. |
New from Rapture in the Air
Updated November
2010
Islam's
version of the messiah is the Mahdi,
believed to be the same person as the "Twelfth (or last) Imam." He may be the
same person as the antichrist.
Some Muslims believe he has already arrived. Iranian Supreme Leader
Ali Khamenei said in July that "he actually met
with the Shia Islamic messiah, known as the
Twelfth Imam," who lived hundreds of years ago in the area of
Iraq and has supposedly been living in a well
until the time of his return appearance. I believe I read that Iran's possessed
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also said that
he has met with him.
Ahmadinejad says his government’s mission is to hasten the appearance of the
Twelfth Imam on earth, and he will come in the midst of world war and chaos, for
which Ahmadinejad believes he will be the catalyst. Already fomenting violence
all over the world, he is off to a good start. Just wait until he gets his
nukes.
Author Joel Rosenberg says:
"We are living
on the brink of the apocalypse, but the world is asleep.... What’s so dangerous
is that in the Shia Islamic eschatology – or End
Times theology – of these two men (Khamenei and Ahmadinejad), they believe that
their God-given mission in life is to destroy
Judeo-Christian civilization as we know it, in order to accelerate the
arrival of their so-called messiah to earth. Given their feverish efforts to
build nuclear weapons, this is very dangerous
stuff. The problem is that most world leaders aren’t paying attention to the
eschatology driving Iranian foreign policy. Most Americans aren’t aware of it
either. We have a Farsi--speaking Hitler rising, and the world is doing nothing
decisive to stop him."
Ahmadinejad
has spent millions to build roads leading to the Jamkaran Mosque, where the
Twelfth Imam reportedly once appeared to a farmer and told him to build a mosque
and intimated that he might return there one day to a well in the courtyard. Not
all Shias believe this so-called messiah will
return there, but Ahmadinejad does. As a result, millions of Shias have visited
the mosque and like to write prayers and toss them down the well, hoping they
are heard and answered.
But has the Mahdi already arrived, in fact?
Last night on TV, Perry Stone was on literally
fire as I have never seen him, as he spoke from Pastor Ron Phillips' Abba's
House Baptist Church near Chattanooga.
Perry was speaking on this subject. He also showed a video taken at a
Islamic ritual in Iraq, with two men flagellating (whipping) themselves.
Between them was a mysterious spirit being, mimicking their actions, as though
encouraging them. It was clearly a glowing, white being, but Perry said was not
there when the video was made. It only appeared later. He suggested it was
probably the manifested spirit of this Twelfth Imam, or Mahdi. I wish I had a
link for you to see this but I do not. You might find it at
http://www.abbashouse.com/pages/page.asp?page_id=10515
This is weird stuff, I know, but we are dealing with a weird subject. The
spirit realm is very real, actually more so than the physical realm.
I have never seen Perry Stone so fired up. He excoriated seeker-friendly
pastors who are not telling their people about these things, so that they will
know what is coming.
QUESTION: What is coming?
ANSWER: Jesus Christ is coming, and soon, but
also the anti-christ.
Be ready.
Jim November 2010
The events happening around the world speak nothing more than
Jesus can appear "any" time. It has never been so imminent than now.
The judgment of God is becoming more apparent every day. The sin of this nation
and the way the world is treating Israel bids nothing more than the judgment and
wrath of God. All of these line up with Daniel's time-line and the 70 weeks of
Daniel with many other time-lines telling us the next 7 years will be the time
of God's revelation judgment on the world. The word of God is being opened up
like never before and what we thought was not possible to know is being revealed
powerfully.
Through the specific way God set-up the agricultural system of Israel tells us
how and WHEN God spiritually harvests the earth. Putting this together with the
events of the world/biblical time-lines, we can pretty much nail down the
season/month of the rapture. I don't see why we cannot know the month. That is
an assumption those have made because they believe we cannot know the day or
hour. I still am not sure that is even true. Reading Matthew 24:35-36, you can
see the Lord is talking about the time the heavens and earth pass away and
"eternity" begins.
If you read Kings, you can see Elijah KNEW the time of his departure, but he did
not know because of the ancient scriptures. Elijah knew the "Exact Day" of his
departure from "revelation" from God. Could that same principle still apply?
I think it does. We should not assume we cannot know the day or hour because
there is no "scripture" telling us that day, but what if it's the same with
Elijah, the Lord reveals it through spiritual revelation?!?!
So, I think it is possible to know the day. As we have already said, the year of
the rapture has been unsealed by the understanding of the book of Daniel.
I ordered JVI'S (Jack Van Impe) prophecy bible and in the preface of the book on page 1383, he
says
"I suddenly awakened in the middle of the night. This sort of occurrence only
happens when God places on my heart a burden to pray for someone, or when the
Spirit of God enlightens my mind with scriptural truth. On this occasion, a
startling thought entered my mind -- something I had neither read nor heard in
all my years of research and personal Bible study.
"I was astonished. Stunned would be a better word. At the same time, I was
thrilled as God began to reveal to me:
"Jack, everything Jews, Gentiles, and Christians are to know about their future is
predicted in the book of Daniel"
This is a confirmation of what Jack heard...]
On the same page, a few sentences down in the preface, it says...
"Within a few weeks, the Spirit of God directed me to another amazing discovery
through the writings of some of His prophets. This startling revelation was even
greater confirmation that, because of what I was now learning, my ministry, my
life, might be just never be the same. I picked up the 1935 book "Reckonings of
Redemption", by Rabbi Shvili, and read...
"Everything we Jews need to know about our future is predicted in the book of
Daniel."
"That's the same revelation God gave to me in the middle of the night - in
almost exact words!"
-------------------------------------
This really confirmed my thoughts about the tribulation time-line of 2010 - 2017
in fact "can be known" in the unsealing of the prophecies until the "time of the
end"!
Dear friends:
This morning I noticed an interesting post on the Five Doves Web site by a
fellow named Lee Daily. He strongly believes the rapture will be in 2010. He
boldly declares:
I will take a stand. Let me say
unequivocally due to looking at these time frames regarding the
Jubilees, Daniel
9:27, the various counts, etc., the way all
these historical, recent, and current events fit, even overlap perfectly, and
align with the obvious Jubilees, from a statistical probability point of view,
the only way for this not to be the time is if the Lord/Father has suddenly
changed the schedule. He doesn't change.
See full post at
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2010/leed519.htm
It is very odd that just seconds before reading that post,
I was meditating on the greatly discussed number 234. What's that got to
do with anything? Hear me.
Not bragging, but back in about 1994 I was the first to discover, investigate
and report the angel encounter where that number 234 was first revealed
by an angel. For circumstances and details, see Encounter # 3 in my article at
http://www.choicesforliving.com/spirit/part3/angels.htm.
There have been many theories about what 234 might mean, if anything, but
I do not believe it was arbitrary. God is never arbitrary. But I have never
been sure of any of the theories.
However, this post was eery in its timing. Just last night, I remembered that
in 2010 there has been exactly 234 years since the birth of America in
1776.
I am not of the false Anglo-Israelite persuasion, but in many comparative ways,
America is a modern Israel, such as (1) being established by a covenant with God
(The Mayflower Compact/Covenant in 1620), (2) being a
gospel light to the nations as the greatest missionary sending nation in
history, and (3) now, like Israel, falling away
from God. It would not surprise me that God would consider America's history as
that significant in His plan and with the angel's number 234 give us a
hint that 2010 is the year the scroll of America's history would be rolled up,
as His people are taken up.
Let us hope. I do know that respected Bible scholars and students believe we
are extremely close to the rapture, from Bible interpretation, current events,
and personal revelations.
By the way, the Mayflower Compact/Covenant in AD 1620 is 390 years from
2010. The number 390 is a prophetic number in the Bible.
The "390 days" of Ezekiel's revelation denoted a Bible-prophecy year with
the leap month added. (Ezekiel 4:5,9). See

The
Year 2012
Jim Bramlett
Mar 5, 2010
Dear friends:
Jesus' disciples asked Him: "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will
be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?
(KJV: end of the world)?" (Matthew 24:3, NKJV).
"Age" or "world" is from the Greek word aion, which properly means period
of time. "Age" is probably a better translation.
Jesus added later that His coming would be "as it was in the days of Noah"
(v.37, NIV).
Most of my life I believed the "days of Noah" clue only means most of the world
would be taken by surprise, as Paul explained that to those in darkness He would
come "as a thief in the night" (1
Thessalonians 5:2).
Stay with me now….
In recent years, however, I have come to believe that passage the Lord gave us
contains a more explicit and precise hint.
In his book cited below, noted researcher and author Tom Horn says, "aion" is
the word the Greeks used to designate an actual cycle of the
Milky Way alignments or the span of an age.
Author David Flynn says of this:
"The answer Jesus provided His
disciples for 'when' the end of the age would
occur was specific. The astronomical signs in the heavens would be just as
those during the days of Noah when Leviathan
encircled the horizon in the dawn of the Summer
solstice. There could have been no more accurate comparison made between
our present time than the age of Noah… The present aion is coming to a close.
Like the sunteleia (completion) before, there will be great upheaval and
change.'
Tom Horn and David Flynn are both talking about the
soon-coming year AD 2012.
Writer Dan Eden says:
On the same day when our Sun is at
its solar maximum, something will happen that's never happened for thousands of
eons of time -- the ecliptic of our solar system will intersect with the
Galactic plane, called the "Galactic Equator" of the Milky Way! What makes 2012
significant is that it coincides with the alignment of the center of the Milky
Way galaxy, our sun, earth, and the large planets. If it was not for this fact I
would say that 2012 was just another Y2K hoax. But the astronomy makes it
believeable. (See
http://www.viewzone.com/endtime.html.)
Another Web site says, "The alignment in 2012 makes things
more interesting as the two days on which the sun will cross the galactic plane
that year happens to align with two solstices. Such a thing happens only once
in 13,000 years."
In his book, "Apollyon Rising 2012: The Lost Symbol Found and the Final
Mystery of the Great Seal Revealed," Tom Horn provides massive evidence
that the year 2012 is not just of interest because of the
end of the Mayan calendar on December 21st of
that year, which the typical mockers attack. There are many other reasons. He
also shows that the date December 21, 2012 is oddly encoded in the
Great Seal of the United States. It is a date
that has been mysteriously anticipated in history by occult insiders. Horn
believes it may mark either the middle or the beginning of the final seven
years.
I recommend this book as a totally fascinating read. Here are some comments:
"I'M SPEECHLESS! TOM HORN'S APOLLYON RISING 2012 [IS] SHOCKING! TERRIFYING!
PROVOCATIVE! EDGY! DANGEROUS! DARE I SAY IT COULD BE THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER
READ!?"

By the way, Apollyon is the name of the angel from the bottomless pit in
Revelation 9:11 (interesting number). It is the antichrist.
Tom Horn's Web site is at
http://www.apollyonrising2012.com. You can
get the book at
www.amazon.com and probably save money.
Oh, one other thing. If Tom Horn is correct about 2012 being either the middle
or the beginning of the final seven years, either one, the rapture could be
truly at the door. It could be today. God could have given us this book as an
additional warning.
Look up. Be ready. He is coming!

Brother, for the following information I am glad to give credit to
Bob Mitchell who wrote about this on his Interesting Prophecies on
January 8th. I also want to express my appreciation to a dear sister in
Australia [who prefers that her email address not be circulated] who
forwarded this information on to me. I am sharing it with you and other readers
by rewriting it in my own style and adding my own comments.

Remember that Peter in Acts 2:17-21, when speaking to the
Jews in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost [Acts
2:5; 2:14; 2:22; 2:36; 2:39(a)], and transliterating from Joel's prophecy,
clearly stated, "I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men
shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams….." Both
the context and the wording used here makes it clear that this statement is
speaking of the Jewish people. This cannot be denied by anyone who understands
the grammatical construction of sentences and has a real desire to
"rightly divide the Word of truth," 2 Timothy
2:15. It clearly states that in these "last days" Jews
would be given prophecies, would see visions, and dream dreams. I am aware that
many people today claim they have been given these "gifts," but it is very
obvious that some making the claim have and some haven't. 1 John 4:1-3
is still in the Bible! However, when I run across a Jew today who
claims to have been given a prophecy or a vision or a dream, I pay a good bit
more attention to their claim than I do that of Gentiles making a similar
claim. Without apology to anyone!
Then in view of this inspired prophecy given by Peter, I think it is highly
significant that…….
In 1217 the Jewish Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied that the
Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of
Jerusalem for eight Jubilees. A Jubilee
is a period of 50 years according to Leviticus 25:8-13. Eight
Jubilees would then be 400 years. Sure enough, 300 years later in 1517 the
Ottoman Turks seized control of the city of Jerusalem and ruled over it for the
next 400 years. They were finally driven out of the city and the holy land in
1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby. The
Rabbi's prophecy about the 400 years was fulfilled exactly to the year.
The Rabbi had also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would
be a "no-man's land." This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to
the fact that the holy land was placed under British
Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally "belonged" to no
nation. Even after Israel's war of independence
in 1948-49 Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through
the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and
Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was
considered and even called "no-man's land" by both the Israelis and the
Jordanians. Anyone even stepping into that strip would be shot down. I lived
during that period of time and well remember the reports in the newspapers and
shown on TV about the division of Jerusalem. It was not until the
Six Day War in 1967 when the entire west bank of
the holy land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem
passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by
the Rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.
But that is still not the end of the matter. The Rabbi also prophesied
that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews
and the Messianic "end times" would begin. The 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and
will be concluded in 2017. The Rabbi's prophecy has been
fulfilled to the letter right up to this present day. There is then no
Scriptural reason to believe it will not continue to be fulfilled exactly as it
was given, until the conclusion of the seven year Tribulation in
2017. This then means that the pre-tribulation
resurrection and rapture of New Testament believers will occur this very
year; 2010, and that the Messiah and Savior of Israel will
return and establish His Millennial Kingdom in 2017, again
fulfilling to the letter the Rabbi's prophecy.
Glory to God! Hallelujah! Praise the
Lord! Jesus is coming for His people VERY SOON! Praise the God of glory!
Thank God for the "blessed hope."
But this still isn't the whole prophetic picture. During the 18th
century [the 1700's] Rabbi Vilna Gaon
prophesied that the Hurva Synagogue in
Jerusalem, probably the most magnificent Jewish
Synagogue in the entire world, would be destroyed and rebuilt twice,
destroyed yet again and built a third time. He prophesied that when it was
rebuilt the third time, then construction would begin on the [third… ?]
Jewish Temple.
The Hurva Synagogue was first destroyed by the Muslims shortly after it was
originally built. A hundred years later it was rebuilt a second time. Then it
was destroyed for the second time by the Jordanian army during Israel's war of
independence in 1948-49. It lay in ruins until 2001! That year the Israeli
government and the Jewish people in Israel began rebuilding it again. Now here
is the fascinating relation to end-time Bible prophecy…….
The Hurva Synagogue has just been completed, and is scheduled to be
dedicated and officially opened in a grand ceremony in Jerusalem on March
15, 2010. Significantly, the Jewish Rabbinate in Jerusalem has already
announced that the plans for rebuilding the Jewish
Temple will be presented to the nation of Israel and the Jewish people on
March 16, 2010. The Rabbi's prophecy wins again!
Glory to God! Thank you Lord Jesus! Praise the
Lord! Hallelujah! O glory be to God!
Our Lord's coming for His people is right at the door! Read Revelation
3:8.
Dear brother and dear readers, it is time for people to GET READY OR GET
LEFT! Read John 3:3-7, 3:16, 3:36, 5:24, 14:6, Acts 4:12, 16:30-31,
and Romans 10:8-13. DO IT TODAY! Tomorrow may be too late!
2 Corinthians 6:1-2. Then bow your head and your heart before the
Lord and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into
your heart and grant you true repentance and
save you, cleanse you, and make you one of His children. The ONLY way anyone is
ever "accounted worthy" is to have the "righteousness of
Christ" imputed to you. Compare Luke 21:36 with
20:35-36, and then carefully read Romans 4:1-25.
Any reader who needs spiritual help is urged to contact me or some
other true believer in whom you have real confidence. I will
count it a blessing to answer your questions, study the Word with you, pray with
you, and do whatever I can to help you find salvation in Christ, or the
assurance and peace that the Lord wants to give to all of His people. May God
grant you His GRACE is my prayer for you.
Dear brother, I hope this answers your questions and gives you additional
spiritual insight. Please feel free to email or write to me anytime. My
greatest blessing is to be used of the Lord to minister His Word to His people,
and to the lost who are seeking Him for salvation. Please keep me in your
prayers. God bless you.

Prayer for Salvation: Jesus Christ is
the Son of God. If we have invited Jesus to come and live within us and be the
Lord of our lives then our inheritance in the future kingdom is assured.
God's word says in John 14:6, "Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the
Father, but by me."
In order to invite Jesus to be your
Savior and Lord, you must believe in you heart that He is the Son of God,
believe that He died upon the cross of Calvary as an atonement for your wrong
doings, and believe that He arose from death and the grave. We must confess and
repent of our sins and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. If you have never done
this then stop right now and pray this prayer.
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the
Name of Jesus repenting and asking forgiveness of all my sins. Your Word says,
"whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am
calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my
life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead
thou shalt be saved" I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe
in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I am a Christian ..a child of
Almighty God! I am saved!
You are now an heir to the Kingdom of
God! Your future is assured. I want to encourage you to find a church in your
local area to attend. Tell someone that you have just received Jesus as your
Lord. Than start digging into God's Word.
"I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am
convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day"
