A Revelation of the Great Assembly

Hebrews 12:22-23

Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in Heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

General Assembly-Great Assembly (Ezra and Nehemiah) Knesset has 120 members as did the Great Assembly. Jewish teaching

Every 7 years the land rested Numbers chapter 10. On 7^{th year people assembled at the temple platform. Gold trumpets used. Gold represents diety.}

^{Rapture Fighters: No rapture. Pastors teaching this. Claim no rapture mentioned in the Bible so not even preaching the coming of the Lord anymore.}

^{Rapture word not in Bible. Neither is the word DEMONS, nor Trinity, Second Coming is found nowhere in the Bible either. Why do we use it. Is a person a heretic because they use the words demons, trinity, second coming, millennial reign?}

^{Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.}

^{Rev 20:3 And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.}

^{Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.}

^{Demons comes from Greek word possessed. 2nd Coming Second appearing of Christ. Trinity is triunity. 1 John 5:7}

^{Rapture: 1 Thess 4:16-17 New Testament in Greek. Common greek. Went to Latin because of roman influence. St. Jerome Latin When translating Rapture comes from caught up (Raptus) Latin. Translates to English as the word Rapture.}

^{General Assembly=the catching away from Latin = Resurrection and translation of the saints translated from the Greek. Enoch was translated to heaven. Same as rapture.}

^{Reason the word Rapture is used. It is a universal word that Christians around the world recognize. We could use catching away, general assembly, translation etc. but most would not recognize the meaning.}

^{Millennial Reign is a word. Simply means 1000 years reign.}

^{Rapture is taught in the Scriptures but people get caught or stuck on particular words.}

^{Hebrew Scriptures say that people will escape the indignation of God. Escape wrath. Zephaniah 1:18: 2:1-2}

^{Zep 1:18 Their silver nor their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy. For He shall make even a full, yea, a speedy end of all the dwellers in the land.}

^{Zep 2:1 Gather yourselves together; yea, gather, O nation not desired;}

^{Zep 2:2 before the birth of the decree, the day shall pass like the chaff; yet not before the hot anger of Jehovah comes on you, yet not before the day of Jehovah's anger comes on you.}
